O & S Turntable Basic Instructions
Do not detail the bridge until you have the turntable installed
and operating smoothly!!!!!
Only the drive wheel & bridge will have to be removed when detailing.Remove turntable from cardboard box.
Turn turntable upside down on a table
Remove all odd shaped packing blocks with a screw driver from the drive wheel.

Loosen clamp #79218 with Allen wrench provided. You only have to loosen
the screws 1/2 to 1 turn.
Remove drive wheel from shaft and turn over.
Remove these odd shaped packing block with a screw drive like above.
The Packing blocks are not used again. You may throw them away.
Two wires shown above are for getting power to the track on the bridge.
The center wire near the shaft is to the center rail.
The outside wire is for the outside rails.
Connect a wire to the center rail wire and tape or staple the wire to the underside of the turntable,
to keep from interfering with the drive wheel.

Place 2 business or playing cards under the bogie wheels on both ends.
You may have to use 3 playing cards.
Slide the set collar down until it touches the pit bushing. Tighten the collar.
This will transfer most the the weight of the loco to the center shaft.
A drop of oil or grease between the collar and pit bushing is necessary.Cut the track of your choice and fasten to the wood bridge.
You can gain a little length by letting the track stick out past the end of the bridge.
Have the last tie on the end of the bridge and the rail can stick out past the end.Now you can install the drive motor and detailing.
